Salam my beloved brothers and sister, inshaallah on Sunday the 16th I’ll be running a half marathon (21km) in order to raise money for the people of Gaza and Sudan. The money will be split in half and be donated via Islamic Relief. As we know Ramadan is fast approaching and this is a crucial time to support our brothers and sisters. We inspire to be like those Allah mentions in the Quran Chapter 76. ‘They ˹are those who˺ fulfil ˹their˺ vows and fear a Day of sweeping horror, and give food—despite their desire for it—to the poor, the orphan, and the captive, ˹saying to themselves,˺ “We feed you only for the sake of Allah, seeking neither reward nor thanks from you. 76: 7-9
Over 70,000 Palestinians have been killed since the war in Gaza began in October 2023. More than 171,000 are injured or missing under the rubble.
