Gaza Winter Live Appeal

As winter sets in, the humanitarian crisis in Gaza has reached a devastating new phase. More than 1.9 million people are displaced, most living in fragile tents or damaged buildings that offer little protection from cold temperatures, heavy rain, and flooding. Winter conditions are intensifying suffering, particularly for children, babies, people with disabilities, and the elderly.

In this sacred month of Rajab, Muslim Aid is delivering urgent winter assistance to help families stay warm, fed, and protected during the coldest months.

With temperatures dropping as low as 5°C, families are facing cold nights without heating, warm clothing, dry bedding, or adequate food. Flooded camps, widespread malnutrition, and the collapse of essential services mean that winter aid is now a matter of survival.

Muslim Aid’s Response in Gaza

Despite extreme access challenges, Muslim Aid has continued to deliver aid on the ground, including:

  • Distribution of hot meals to displaced families
  • Provision of winter supplies, including blankets and mattresses
  • Support for community kitchens serving thousands of meals
  • Emergency food assistance for vulnerable families
  • Ongoing humanitarian presence despite severe restrictions

Our teams are prioritising winter-specific needs to reduce suffering and protect lives during the coldest months.
