Thank you for showing an interest in hosting a screening of Muslim Aid’s flagship climate documentary, presented by former BBC journalist and Muslim Aid Climate Ambassador Kawser Quamer.
The film explores the practical, community-led solutions already helping people adapt to climate change in Pakistan, including climate-smart housing, solar energy, flood resilience and ecosystem restoration. It asks why these proven approaches remain under-supported despite their potential to save lives and livelihoods. This short documentary uplifts local voices and calls into question a slow-moving international system that isn’t meeting the needs of those at the forefront of the climate crisis, with rights-holders asking vital questions of the system and demonstrating how local action and knowledge takes the lead and deserves greater support and attention.
