Many A Good Opportunity This Ramadan

Along with the infinite reward and countless blessings, the Holy month of Ramadan brings with it many privileges and opportunities. As the most common types of donation during this holy month, your Zakat and Sadaqah are redistributed to help those who are suffering through poverty, displacement, and hunger across developing countries.

Muslim Aid takes its mission to relieve the suffering and pain of millions of Muslims worldwide extremely seriously. As you break your fast with a dua for Iftar, your thoughts can be redirected to those millions who are also able to celebrate this holy month of Ramadan due to the generosity of their more fortunate Muslim brothers and sisters in fulfilling their Zakat obligations.

The month of Ramadan incites us to think of those who go hungry on a daily basis without a choice. Although most of us will be sitting down at Iftar time for a lovingly prepared Iftar meal to break our fast, it is important to spare a thought for those amongst us who won’t have that same privilege. Increase your wealth in front of your Lord and purify your wealth by using the power of the Zakat to relieve the suffering of many.

Many A Good Opportunity This Ramadan

Regular Giving

Not only does thinking of those who are constantly hungry and poverty-stricken make you want to give more during the month of Ramadan, but it also encourages the act and intention of regular giving. These brothers and sisters are not just hunger-stricken during this month, but every month.

Muslim Aid has been supporting the vulnerable and poverty-stricken for nearly 40 years, and we have only been able to do this through regular contributions from our generous beneficiaries. We would be honoured to welcome you to our beneficiary community, where you can support us in the work we do and track the good work your regular contributions are doing.

Sponsor A Child

Many of us adults make a conscious effort for the little ones in our life during the celebration of Eid-ul-Fitr, be it by the giving of new clothes, gifts, time, or money. It is a time when many of us prioritise our children. This Eid, spare a thought for the many orphans out there that won’t have this affection that every child craves and deserves, sponsor a child, or partake in Muslim Aid’s Eid gifts programme this Ramadan.

Donate Your Zakat-ul-Fitr

Muslim Aid puts your Zakat donation towards helping those around the world that are afflicted with hunger and poverty; to assist and support them in building a sustainable living for themselves and their families.

For more information on Zakat or how to calculate your Zakat, we have developed our own Muslim Aid Zakat calculator so that you know exactly what you need to donate.

Join Muslim Aid; together, let’s make some incredible changes this Ramadan.

We are a faith-based British international charity that provides help to people who are victims of natural disasters or conflict or suffering from poverty, hunger, disease, homelessness, injustice, deprivation or lack of skills and economic opportunities.
