Along with the infinite reward and countless blessings, the Holy month of Ramadan brings with it many privileges and opportunities.
Muslim Aid is on a mission to make this a productive Ramadan for many out there, for those who need our help and assistance and for those of us who can never have enough good deeds and reward.
We’d like to share a few ways to help you in increasing and further multiplying your reward; join us in the privilege of reaping the benefits of Ramadan whilst helping others.
Feed the Fasting Programme
The month of Ramadan incites us to think of those who go hungry on a daily basis, without a choice. Although most of us will be sitting down to a lovingly prepared iftar meal to break our fast with, let’s spare a thought for those amongst us who won’t have that same privilege. Increase your wealth in front of your Lord by feeding the fasting this Ramadan
Not only does thinking of those that are constantly hungry and poverty stricken make you want to give more during the month of Ramadan, but it also encourages the act and intention of regular giving. These brothers and sisters are not just hunger stricken during this month, but every month.
Sponsor a Child
Many of us adults make a conscious effort for the little ones in our life during the celebration of Eid-ul-Fitr, be it by the giving of new clothes, gifts, time or money. It is a time where many of us prioritise our children. This Eid, spare a thought for the many orphans out there that won’t have this affection that every child craves and deserves, sponsor an orphan or partake in Muslim Aid’s Eid gifts programme this Ramadan.
Donate your Zakat-ul-Fitr
Muslim Aid puts your zakat donations towards helping those around the world that are afflicted with hunger and poverty; to assist and support them in building a sustainable living for themselves and their families.
