Muslim Aid marks milestone with global accountability standard

Muslim Aid has completed a comprehensive validated self-assessment under the Core Humanitarian Standards (CHS) on Quality and Accountability, a globally recognised benchmark for principled and effective humanitarian action.

The process, carried out through the CHS Alliance Verification Scheme, reviews how organisations listen to communities, deliver aid, and remain accountable to the people they serve. Completing this assessment signals Muslim Aid’s commitment to strengthening these practices across its work.

Following this, Muslim Aid has received a CHS Self-Assessment stamp, which will be displayed on its platforms to demonstrate this commitment to transparency and continuous improvement.

This step forms part of the organisation’s wider efforts to ensure its programmes are responsive, accountable, and grounded in the needs of communities affected by crisis.

We are a faith-based British international charity that provides help to people who are victims of natural disasters or conflict or suffering from poverty, hunger, disease, homelessness, injustice, deprivation or lack of skills and economic opportunities.
