Muslim Aid Trustee Faria Ali Awarded MBE for Services to Charity and Voluntary Work

Muslim Aid is delighted to congratulate our trustee, Faria Ali MBE , on being recognised in the King's Birthday Honours and awarded an MBE for services to charity and voluntary work.

Faria has dedicated many years to supporting communities, advancing inclusion and driving positive social impact through her work across the charity, voluntary and international development sectors. Alongside her role as a trustee at Muslim Aid, she has contributed to a range of organisations and initiatives focused on empowering communities and creating meaningful change.

Reflecting on the honour, Faria said:

“I am honoured to receive an MBE for services to charity and voluntary work. From volunteering at university to roles with Muslim Aid, the British Pakistan Foundation, NOTICED and the UNDP, to name a few, I have remained committed to supporting communities and advancing inclusion. (...)”

We are proud to have benefited from Faria’s leadership, insight and commitment as a member of our Board of Trustees. This recognition is a testament to her longstanding dedication to public service and her passion for helping others.
