Ramadan feedback report 2024

Muslim Aid has built a successful operation to deliver humanitarian aid inside Gaza, despite the complex challenges and continued violence. Through our experience of working inside Gaza for almost two decades we have established local knowledge to import and transport goods from strategically located warehouses that serve as a central hub to distribute aid across Gaza in places such as Rafah, Khan Younis & Deir Al Balah.

We deployed our CEO (Khalid Javid), Head of International Programmes (Abu Akeem) & Philanthropy & High Value Partnerships (Yusuf Kalam) to Egypt in March & April (Pre Ramadan & Ramadan) where they engaged with relevant actors and partners assessing capacities and identifying delivery channels to oversee the delivery of your Amanah through the Rafah Border. This included overseeing the preparation of 40ft lorries carrying palettes of flour, and additional freights of vital emergency essentials to distribute to our displaced brothers and sisters in Gaza so that they could adequately feed and care for their families during the holy month.
