Record Breaking Live Appeal

What will you GIVE this Ramadan?

You GAVE the gift of water.

Jazak Allah Khair for helping us raise a record breaking £335,000 (and still rising!) during our live appeal on Friday 28th August 2009 on Islam Channel. It was a fantastic evening and we were bowled over by the phenomenal response we received- we were still receiving telephone donations at 7am the following day!

We wanted to raise enough funds to provide one water drilling rig that would be used to provide clean water to communities in Gambia, Mali, Mauretania, Senegal and Niger where millions of people face water shortages, however through your generosity and compassion, we are now able to prove TWO water rigs that will mean thousands more people will receive clean water.

4,900 children die every day in Africa due to lack of water. You GAVE thousands more a better future.

THANK YOU also for your support during our live appeal on Islam Channel on Sunday 23rd August 2009 where you raised a fantastic  £108,000 which will provide food packages, nourishing suhoors and iftar meals to poor families across 54 countries during Ramadan.

Not forgetting a big THANK YOU to all staff and supporters who worked tirelessly during every appeal-we could not have done it without you!

May Allah (SWT) reward your generosity.
