Bangladesh - Water & Sanitation

Rohingya Refugees

Just 84% of secondary schools in Bangladesh have access to a drinking water source. 60% of these water sources are non-functional. The state of hygiene and sanitation facilities in secondary schools is also very poor.

Creating healthier learning environments

Creating healthier learning environments with improved WASH was a project that constructed WASH facilities for 30 schools, repaired existing WASH facilities in 26 schools and established a student brigade of 250 children who will act as agents of change and teach their communities about the importance of good hygiene awareness. So far this project has benefitted over 75,000 students from 250 schools and 750 school teachers.

We are a faith-based British international charity that provides help to people who are victims of natural disasters or conflict or suffering from poverty, hunger, disease, homelessness, injustice, deprivation or lack of skills and economic opportunities.
