Water is a source of life, yet over 1/6th of the world’s population lack access to safe drinking water. A further 2.5 billion, including 1 billion children, live without basic sanitation.

Over the past 5 years, with your support, Muslim Aid has empowered thousands of people through its water and sanitation projects.

Your donations to Muslim Aid’s General Water Fund will allow us to continue to help the people who need it the most to gain access to safe, clean drinking water and sanitation services.

Your support will:

• Prevent families from getting waterborne diseases such as diarrhoea, cholera and typhoid. 
• Reduce the need for women and girls to endanger themselves to fetch water, increasing the time they have for studying and developing their careers.
• Empower rural communities to access water and increase agricultural activities.
