As we gather with our families for the familiar iftar traditions, let’s remember the people of Palestine who are facing starvation and famine.
As little as £60 can feed a fasting family for a whole month. Our feed the fasting programme operates across the globe, helping you to provide Iftar and Suhoor to your brothers and sisters. This Ramadan, together, we can feed the fasting.
As the world continues to experience crisis, the most vulnerable communities are at risk of death by hunger and thirst. Brought on by increased food scarcity, natural disaster wiping out crops and hostilities skyrocketing food prices, it’s heartbreaking to think about how many lives could easily be saved just by giving them access to food and water.
Together this Ramadan, we can do just that with our Feed the Fasting programme to ensure that people can experience respite from their hunger and the energy they need to face another day.

At Muslim Aid, we are feeding the fasting in 13 countries including war torn and famine-stricken countries like Palestine, Yemen, Syria, Afghanistan and Somalia. We are providing:
- Food packs which can provide a family with healthy and nourishing food supplies such as oil, rice, wheat, salt, pulses and more.
- Food vouchers that families can use to buy exactly what they need when they need it, giving them the independence and dignity, they deserve.
Fawzia, 45 lives in famine ravaged Yemen. Her husband requires urgent surgery which they cannot access nor afford. She has eight children who she struggles to feed due to severe poverty and the lack of food.
"I had to send my boys to look for work, so we had money to buy food, but there are no jobs. Alhamdulillah for Muslim Aid, they gave us a full food pack that lasted the whole month of Ramadan.”
Whoever feeds a person breaking his fast will earn the same reward as him, without anything being lessened from the reward of the fasting person.
