Could provide an emergency supply of food to a family
Could go towards our global emergency fund
Could provide clean drinking water to a family in an emergency
Could provide safe and secure shelter
Could provide life saving medicine and healthcare facilities
Our country offices in Bangladesh and Myanmar are monitoring the situation and are ready to respond. Your support will enable us to reach those affected with live saving aid.
Around half a million people are being evacuated to safer areas in south-eastern Bangladesh, ahead of Cyclone Mocha which predicted to make landfall with 170kph (106mph) winds and a storm surges of up to 3.6m (12ft).
There are concerns the cyclone could hit the world's largest refugee camp, Cox's Bazar, where close to a million people live in makeshift homes.
Cyclone Mocha could be the most powerful storm seen in Bangladesh in nearly 20 years and have devastating effects on Myanmar.
Muslim Aid has a country office in both Myanmar and Bangladesh and long term projects across Bangladesh, including Cox Bazar, and is ready to assist.
Our duas are with the people of Bangladesh and Myanmar.
May Allah ease the effects of the cyclone and keep them safe and away from harm.
