DFID supports Start Network in World Bank Spring Meetings

On Friday 11th April 2014, International Development Secretary Justine Greening announced UK Department for International Development (DFID) support for two key Start Network programmes: the Start Fund and Start Build. Together this represents a contribution of up to £56 million for the Start Network.

In 2013 Muslim Aid became a member of Start Network. The Start Network is a consortium of 19 leading NGOs working together to strengthen the humanitarian aid system. DFID’s commitment to support Start Network will enable NGOs to respond to emergencies in different parts of the world effectively and efficiently.
