Keep Warm Kits for the elderly

Muslim Aid’s UK development team have made visits to two elderly people’s clubs – The Pensioner’s Club at St James-the-less’ Church and Toynbee Hall’s Older People’s services, in East London. Both visits saw guests receive gifts in the form of Keep Warm Kits, to help bring comfort during the cold winter season.

Gladis, who attends The Pensioner’s Club every week was delighted with her new gifts – “They’re all useful things we’ve received”, she said. “Thank you very much. We’re very grateful for what people do for us. That’s a rather nice hat you’ve given us – I don’t usually wear hats, but I might take to wearing one now!”

Keep Warm Kits are being distributed as part of Muslim Aid’s Warm Hearts Winter Campaign.
