Recreational trips enhance children's learning, build their self-confidence and give children the opportunity to think for themselves.

On Friday 6th June 2014, Muslim Aid Pakistan's Child Development Centre in Golra arranged a trip for the children to visit Khewra Salt Mine. The purpose of the visit was both recreational and educational, providing the children with the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful sights and learn about the history of the second largest mine in the world which is one of the country's greatest treasures.

The children throroughly enjoyed themselves and expressed their interest in having more visits. "It's one of the most memorable moments in my life said Sajid, "I enjoyed it a lot. Thanks to Muslim Aid for providing this."
