Philanthropy with Muslim Aid
Whilst every donation is very significant at Muslim Aid, some of our supporters wish to go the extra mile. Our Philanthropy team works closely with these individuals who wish to donate more than £5,000.
With over 35 years’ experience, established supply chains, verified partners, and skilled teams around the world, we understand how precious your donation is and where it will make a lasting impact.
That’s why you can trust us. Not just to take care of your donation but to ensure that your aspirations for supporting are met. Together, we can deliver your support to those in need and really make a significant difference to the communities that we serve.
Muslim Aid relies on the donation of philanthropists to help us provide:
Furthermore, by making a significant gift you enable us to plan ahead, respond with speed and efficiency, and continue developing innovative and sustainable projects.
What you can expect from us
“Charity does not decrease wealth, no one forgives another except that Allah increases his honour, and no one humbles himself for the sake of Allah except that Allah raises his status” Sahih Muslim.
The Impact of your Support
The generosity of our philanthropists have changed the lives of many.
Solar-powered water desalination units -
Gaza 97% of the water in Gaza is unfit for human consumption and with only 3-4 hours daily supply of electricity Gazans were crying out for a solution to their water crisis.
Thanks to our generous donors, we have installed over 100 solar powered water desalination units in UN protected schools and nurseries across Gaza. These units do not rely on electricity, are conflict resilient and are maintained by the local community.
Shelter and protection -Myanmar
Muslim Aid is one of the few international aid agencies registered to operate in Myanmar.
We have a fully functioning office and have built more than 100 long shelters, to provide homes to 5,320 internally displaced Rohingya.
Prosthetic limbs clinic -Syria
Those who have survived the violence in Syria are suffering. Thousands have lost their limbs due to airstrikes or disease. We have supported clinics in Syria to manufacture and fit prosthetic limbs to those disabled by war and poverty.
With specialist state-of-the-art technology and physiotherapy, we have helped 1,472 people so far walk, work, and live again.

What our Philanthropists say...
“The Muslim Aid team across Sri Lanka was brilliant. The model that they are using to help communities sustain themselves is fantastic. I was impressed at the livelihood support initiative and how the team encouraged the community to work together especially with the milk produce.
The hand loom centres training women in villages were very impressive and the material that they were producing was of such quality that it should be sold in high end stores like Liberty. My visit gave me a comprehensive insight into how Muslim Aid works and the profound impact that they are making in marginalized communities”
