Since October 2023, over 66,000 Palestinians have been confirmed dead with at least 160,000 people injured.

Though the ceasefire has been agreed to, this alone does not stop famine and severe deprivation from essentials.

Men, women and children are fighting to stay alive, humanitarian aid is needed now more than ever. Donate to Palestine and help us provide rapid aid and assistance to those in need.

What is Happening in Palestine?

1. Humanitarian Crisis

  • Palestine is facing serious food uncertainty, with famine being confirmed in parts of Gaza.
  • With restrictions in place, aid such as basic food supplies including water and medical aid is unable to reach people.
  • The healthcare system is declining; hospitals are unable to function with shortage of medical supplies.
  • Many people are displaced with no shelter and unstable living conditions.

2. Causalities & Deaths

  • Thousands of Palestinians have been reportedly killed, with figures of around 66,000 deaths since October 2023

3. Human Displacement

  • Many Palestinians are living in temporary refugee shelters with several families displaced from their own homes.

Frequently Asked Questions

How is my donation used?
Muslim Aid uses your donations to deliver emergency and long-term humanitarian aid. This includes food, clean water, medical treatment, safe shelter, and essential supplies for people affected by conflict and poverty.

Can this donation be treated as Zakat?
Yes. Muslim Aid offers a dedicated Zakat appeal for Gaza and applies strict scholar-oversight to ensure Zakat contributions follow Shariah guidelines.

How does Muslim Aid deliver aid inside Gaza?
Muslim Aid operates through its own staff based in Gaza and long-standing local partners. When direct aid delivery is blocked (for example due to siege or blockade), they pre-procure supplies outside Gaza or source locally inside Gaza, then distribute once corridors open or through trusted local networks.

Are donations secure and tax-deductible?
Muslim Aid is a fully registered UK charity, and your donation is protected through secure systems that comply with GDPR and UK data-protection standards. If you are a UK taxpayer, adding Gift Aid makes your donation tax-deductible and increases its value at no extra cost.

What makes Muslim Aid’s Gaza work different?
Muslim Aid has worked in Palestine since 2006 and combines emergency relief with long-term development interventions (water, sanitation, education, livelihoods, mental-health support) beyond short-term aid.

We are a faith-based British international charity that provides help to people who are victims of natural disasters or conflict or suffering from poverty, hunger, disease, homelessness, injustice, deprivation or lack of skills and economic opportunities.
