Muslim Aid condemns ceasefire violation in Gaza

"Muslim Aid condemns the renewed attacks on Gaza, which have, since the late hours of 17 March claimed the lives of over 300 people and injured dozens," said Khalid Javid, CEO of the humanitarian charity.

"The relentless bombardment has worsened an already dire humanitarian crisis and caused yet more collective trauma to the Palestinian people in Gaza."

"We call for an immediate reinstatement of the ceasefire and the protection of all civilians. The people of Gaza cannot endure more devastation. Humanitarian access must be guaranteed to provide urgent medical aid, food, and clean water to those in desperate need."

"After the international community witnessed the killing of over 60,000, half of whom being women and children, from October 2023 to December 2025, it is imperative that this recent history does not repeat itself. Gaza’s people remain vulnerable and its civilian infrastructure remains fragile."

"Muslim Aid remains committed to supporting those affected by continuing to deliver lifesaving aid. We stand by our partners on the ground who risk their lives on a daily basis is to save lives."

"Muslim Aid calls on international governments to condemn these atrocities and push for a permanent ceasefire to prevent further loss of life."
